Why should you appoint a British boarding school consultant?
More good news from a family underlines why you should appoint a British boarding school consultant.
“Hello dear Gina,
So far, we have only had two short phone conversations with Marie. She seems to be having a great time and doesn’t appear to be missing us or her sister in the slightest, which has to be a good sign! She’s made lots of friends and says the girls and boys in her boarding house are really “cool”. She seems to be loving it! We haven’t heard very much about her lessons yet, but know that she is playing hockey, tennis and football, and has also tried swimming at lunchtime. She has told us about her full days, with lots of activities and limited mobile phone time, which, as her parents, we were particularly happy to hear! We hope to hear more from her soon but are confident that she is having a great time and feeling very much at home. I think this is exactly the kind of experience she needed at her age – being in England amongst young people of a similar age without her parents. Marie sounds as if she is enjoying it, and blossoming!
The communication with the school is excellent. On just the second day of Marie’s stay, before we had even heard from Marie herself, we received word from the boarding house about how she was getting on and how she had spent her first afternoon and evening. That was genuinely reassuring. The transfer to the school from the airport worked really well too. Marie’s personal tutor introduced herself to us by email after her first week to give us an initial update on how Marie was getting on. All our questions have been answered promptly, clearly and in a really warm and friendly way, so we as parents also feel very well looked after.
The school also helped us borrow some of the uniform for Marie, so we didn’t have to buy everything. She is really enjoying wearing the school uniform now, even though she was a bit worried about not looking very “cool” to start with!
We were so very keen to enable Marie to have this experience and are entirely confident that it will be an extremely positive and enriching one for her.
All best wishes,
Liudmila”
