Our Process

1. Non-committal Chat

For a copy of our brochure or an initial non-committal chat with Gina, please contact us by completing our contact form, by phone or email.

2. Application

In order for us to build up an accurate picture of your child, we ask you to complete and return our Application Form prior to your free and impartial consultation, along with the following information:

  • A copy of your child’s two most recent school reports;
  • A 1-2 page (A4) essay in English by your child to describe himself/herself and to outline his/her expectations of UK boarding; and
  • A recent photo of your child.

3. Consultation

By Skype, phone or if possible in person, Gina will discuss your child’s application with you, gaining a full understanding of his or her academic performance, strengths and weaknesses, interests and aspirations, as well as any thoughts and preferences you as parents have.

4. Introduction

After your consultation Gina will recommend a selection of British boarding schools for your consideration. We will, of course, provide you with information about the schools we recommend.

5. Conditional offers and appointments

We will promptly inform you whether the recommended schools are able to consider your child for a place, and will arrange convenient appointments for you to visit the schools/for your child’s interview at the schools. Some schools may also require your child to sit an entrance test.

6. Decision time

The schools will then confirm whether they can formally offer your child a place. If you are struggling to make that all-important final decision on which is the right British school for your child, Gina will be happy to assist by listening to your impressions, and relaying her own thoughts and experiences.

And then?

With her home in the heart of Britain, Gina looks forward to receiving news from her students in the UK on how they are settling into their new schools, and, should it be new to them, the British school system.

Should you or your child have any questions or concerns, she is just a phone call away.
