Many thanks for your email, asking after Ferdinand. He has settled in really well at the Royal Hospital School and is very happy. In only a few days it has really become his school and we’re very happy that he’s there rather than any other.

Everyone is so friendly. The Head of 6th Form and the Head of Sailing have been very supportive with planning Ferdinand’s timetable. He does French with Year 13, chose Maths and Business as his other two subjects, and is happy with all of them. Last Friday he went sailing for the first time, has played rugby and done CCF, while today the Director of Music accompanied him playing cello for a group of older people. He’s made friends with some of the other boys too, of course.
