Gina’s visit to Worksop College

Gina’s recent trip out to visit some of the British boarding schools we recommend in England’s Midlands ended at Worksop College.

She was impressed by the excellent boarding provision, with the brand-new Mason house offering outstanding accommodation for 40 boys, while the other two boys’ boarding houses have recently been refurbished too. The impressive, modern feel of the boarding facilities provide a lovely contrast to the beautiful main school buildings steeped in History; the dining hall being almost straight out of a Harry Potter film, and the recently renovated library and the Chapel also very easy on the eye.

She was delighted to meet our two German students at the school, to see how happy they are and how well they had integrated since their start at the friendly and welcoming school last term. As keen sportsmen, they particularly appreciate the excellent sports provision at the school – there is even an 18-hole golf course at the end of the school drive!
