Repton School’s Swimming Programme is making waves on the national and international stage. Sixth Former Eva Okaro made history as the youngest member of Team GB’s swimming squad at the Paris 2024 Olympics, aged just 17. She continues to break junior world records, showcasing the depth of talent nurtured within Repton’s sporting environment. Olympic Champion Adam Peaty has also rejoined the Repton Family, using the school’s 25m pool as his training base, working alongside his coach, Jamie Main, who has recently been appointed Repton’s Director of Swimming. Main, formerly a National Coach at The Aquatics GB Bath Performance Centre, led senior international teams at the 2024 Paris Olympics and now brings his expertise to Repton’s ambitious programme. With world-class coaching and facilities, Repton’s swimming provision is among the best in the country. Aspiring athletes benefit from specialist Strength and Conditioning support, including dedicated pool sessions and access to a bespoke Strength and Conditioning gym in the Sports Clinic. This holistic approach ensures that Repton swimmers develop both in and out of the pool, balancing elite-level training with academic excellence.
