Whilst the school retains an outstanding academic record (on average over 80% achieve A*/B at A Level), its focus continues to be on nurturing the girls’ natural curiosity and fuelling their passion for learning. Boarding

The size of the campus and vibrant community at Badminton give it a homely feel, which coupled with excellent pastoral care leaves no scope for anonymity. The community is vibrant, girls can board from the age of 9, and day girls are welcome to flexi board, allowing them to combine their academic schedules with joining in the many activities on offer. Weekends are packed full of activities and trips, the emphasis always being on relaxing and having fun in a family environment.

Sports

The sporting ethos at Badminton is very much ‘Sport for All’; there is something for everyone to enjoy. Specialist PE teachers and coaches offer timetabled and optional sport for all girls including dance, lacrosse, swimming, judo and cricket. The extensive sporting facilities, greatly expanded by the addition of a new state of the art Sports Centre in 2016, are all onsite.

Creative arts

The Creative Arts at Badminton are not only impressive in their facilities and their accomplishments, but also inspire those who study them. Music is a large and important part of life at the School with over 85% of girls learning to play at least one musical instrument. The stunning Creative Arts Centre provides a hub for the abundance of artistic talent that Badminton exudes and is somewhere that needs to be seen to be believed.
