The School aims to deliver a stimulating, exciting and fulfilling education – all Sixth Formers undertake Academic Enrichment, Study Skills and Well-Being programmes whilst both A Levels (25 subjects) and the IB Diploma are offered. The IB average score is 34, 60% of A Level candidates achieve A*/B and almost 40% of leavers go on to Russell Group universities. A 1-year Pre-IB course is available, with its students fully integrated into mainstream classes, boarding and co-curricular activities.

Boarding
Each of the 7 boarding houses has a mix of day and boarding pupils and is led by a resident Housemaster/mistress supported by a matron and a team of House tutors. After sharing in the earlier years most Sixth Formers have their own rooms. House tutors supervise evening prep as well as meeting their tutees every week. Interhouse competitions foster a sense of belonging and co-curricular activities range from house socials to beach days and even tackling the School's own woodland high ropes!

Sport at Gresham’s delivers a fun and healthy competitive environment, and pupils are encouraged to get involved. The excellent facilities include 2 floodlit AstroTurfs, a 25m indoor Swimming pool, a large sports hall, Tennis courts, an indoor 8-lane Shooting range, Netball and Squash courts and a weights & fitness room.
