RHS pupils in National Youth Choir

Consisting of 750 of the country’s best young singers, the National Youth Choir rehearses twice a year during the summer holidays, giving members an excellent opportunity to develop their vocal techniques across a wide range of challenging music.

The pupils, from Years 11 and 12, are all involved in other aspects of school musical life and play a wide range of instruments including organ, harp and double bass. “Having six of our pupils in such a high calibre choir really showcases the importance of choral music here at RHS,” said Director of Music, William Saunders. “They will get the chance to expand their already diverse musical tastes and to achieve things they just couldn’t do on their own. The School is very proud of them.”

RHS offers some Music and Choral Scholarships, so please do contact us if you’d like to find out more.
