The College supports or stretches pupils according to their abilities, whilst a robust pastoral network underpins academic progress. There is a strong tutor system and pupils in the Sixth Form are able to choose their own tutor.

Boarding

Boarding houses are run by a housemaster or housemistress, and together with the house staff and each pupil's tutor they provide the exceptional pastoral support that is central to Malvern's ethos. Each house has its own dining room where the pupils eat together and this reinforces the family atmosphere. 80% of pupils are full boarders and the house is therefore full at weekends. House life is extremely important and it is here that friendships are often forged for life.
